I walked past aspen trees whose newly-formed leaves were backlit by the rising sun. Their branches formed dark-veined patterns that stood out in stark contrast to the glowing green haze of the leaves.
As with many scenes in nature, photos alone cannot really capture the essence of these trees in that morning sunlight. But they can serve as an encouragement to others to seek out such situations during their own explorations of our world.
