Meadow Arnica
Springtime hikes through the foothills of the Rocky Mountains reveal an amazing variety of wildflowers. Many of these flowers belong to the group known as composites, and most of these turn out to be yellow. The difficulty in distinguishing among the wide variety of yellow composites has led to their being referred to as DYC's (or "Darned Yellow Composites"). To the best of my knowledge these particular DYC's are Meadow Arnica.
