		Grey Dawn
		Hoping to catch a brilliant mountain sunrise, I sat shivering in the pre-dawn chill on a rocky, desolate ridge above treeline. To my initial disappointment, the morning remained grey and cold—the sun hidden behind a heavy bank of clouds. As I continued to watch the sky, however, it took on a strange, luminescent glow that I found to be captivating in its own way.
