Winter Colors

Wandering through the Colorado Rockies in the winter, one becomes acutely aware of the limited number of colors in the landscape's palette. The brilliant blue of the sky, the murky green of the pines, and the pristine whites of the snow are all that the eye sees. The purity of these colors, however, more than makes up for any lack of diversity.
